I will be explaining how to create different set of users who can log into rpd. I will be explaining the procedure to create a rpd user "rpd_admin".
Step 1 :
Login to Enterprise Manager.
Create an application role "rpdAdmin".
Make sure that the newly created application role has the line highlighted below in the application policy :
Step 2 :
Login to Admin Console.
Create a user "rpd_admin" and group "rpdAdmins".
Step 3:
Login to Enterprise Manager.
Add the group rpdAdmins in the application role rpdAdmin.
Step 4 :
Login to rpd(BI Administration Tool) in online mode with the user "rpd_admin".
You will be able to login successfully..
